Sitting up...

MM can finally sit in her Bumbo seat.  She doesn't quite have a perfect fit yet but it's a start!  She is liking looking at her toys and her playmat thing.  She kicks her legs and gets really excited.  If you tickle her sides and chin, she will start laughing also!  So cute!

Europa Go Carts!

Friday, B actually got off work early so we decided to take T to ride on some go carts.  We called ahead to make sure we could actually take T on them and they said as long as he rode with B in a two seater.  They had a blast.  I think B actually had more fun than T.  They got to ride on it for like 10 minutes since we were the only ones there.  It was so fun to watch them go around the track and T would see me on the side and say, HI Mommy, HI Mommy and his little head would whip around.  Here are some pics from our adventure!

Best Buds

This week we didn't have too much going on.  We did get together with a neighbor for a playdate.  I met Sandi and "E" when our kids were a little over a year old.  E is 2 months older than T.  They have completely different personalities but LOVE trains and cars.  I love getting together with Sandi for playdates.  Our kids get along so well and our babies are starting to interact also!  She also has a new baby that's 6 months old.  Here are some pictures from our playdate!

Easter 2012

We had a GREAT Easter weekend!  We went to our friend's house and ate supper with them on Saturday night and then had a fun egg hunt for the boys!  It was delicious food as always.  Rebekah can cook the most amazing meals and could probably open up her own restaurant or catering business one day and be rich!  Anyways, here are a few pics from that night!

D and T

Baby $

Here is T playing in the mud.  He had a blast and actually dumped this pail on his head.  He was covered and had to have a bath and borrow D's clothes!

On Sunday morning we went to church and invited my parents.  After church we came home and ate Cracker Barrel!  YUMMY!  We also saw what the Easter Bunny brought T....

Here are a few more pics from that day!

Baby BooBoo's

MM finally got her 2 month shots on Thursday!  We have been putting them off because our insurance is awful and we wanted to see if we could get a better plan.  No such luck so we took the plunge and decided to yet again pay out of pocket for shots.  We tried this last week at the health department but that's another blogpost entirely.  It wasn't a very pleasant experience at all and I don't think we will ever be going back.  MM did great for her shots.  She only cried when it happened and the minute that I picked her up she stopped.  She is the best little baby!  She is also taking more formula and drinks 8 oz. before bed at 9:30 and sleeping till 5:30 or 6!  I love it!  She has always been a good sleeper.  I don't have to rock her or shush her.  I just zip her up in her swaddle pod and she cries till she gets one arm out and then goes to sleep.  Back to the shots though...I told T that she had gotten shots and she had little boo boos on her legs.  He said, "Baby Boo Boo's"?  Oh Gosh, Mommy.  He is the cutest boy in the world.  Everything is Oh, Gosh thanks to my crazy niece who teaches him how to say most words.  I think she should be a Speech Therapist in the future.  We actually take him to ST once a week and I think he probably picks up more from her!

Our New Arrival!

MM arrived January 13, 2012 at 12:46 p.m. weighing in at 9lbs. 2 oz!  She was a big girl!  She is a wonderful baby and I really don't remember life before her! She loves to be swaddled and goes right to sleep at night.  The only time she cries is if her belly hurts.  T has been the best big brother!  That is truly something that we prayed for and our prayers were answered.  He is very protective over his sissy and likes to talk about her all the time!  He kisses her, tells me when "Sissy cry AGEEN", asks to fold Sissy (hold her) and is the best brother!  She looks very similiar to T when he was a baby.  I love all of her coos that she is starting and her big smiles!  Today was the first day (@ 3 months) that she rolled over!  She really tries and tries to get on her belly.  We yelled and were so excited.   T yelled in celebration for her and then got in the floor and rolled over so he could get some attention also!  I will include some pictures of her over the past 3 months!

I'm Back!

Well...my blogging journey didn't last very long last time.  I only did it a couple of times and then I got swept up in the craziness of life.  Over the weekend I was reading over the few entries that I did and there is so much that I forgot about when T was little.  Blogging is truly a great way to journal all the cute things that kids do and then just print it out at the end of the year as a baby book.  I haven't been great at writing things in T's baby book after his first year.  I'm committing to blog at least for MM's first year.  Family and friends please join me along on our ride!
